The 2025 model is one of the few SUVs that get the same gas mileage whether you choose rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It is powered by a 293-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 engine matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear or all-wheel drive.

The Grand Cherokee
The 2025 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is available in both two-row and three-row configurations.
The three-row seating means more room for friends and family, more cargo space, and more fun. With three rows, up to seven adult passengers can sit comfortably.
In the two-row version, four or five adult passengers can sit comfortably. There is less cargo space than in the three-row version.
Engine
The Grand Cherokee is powered by a 293-hp 3.6-liter V6. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and several different all-wheel-drive systems are available, including one with an electronically locking limited-slip rear differential.
The Trailhawk 4xe model’s powertrain makes 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, and is standard with a four-wheel-drive system.
Technology
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Reserve is the only SUV that offers the most available technology features. It offers a premium McIntosh entertainment system with 19 speakers and a 17-channel amplifier, delivering up to 951 watts of power through 19 custom-designed speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. Also available is TomTom navigation on the Uconnect 5 NAV system’s 10.1-inch touchscreen.
The Grand Cherokee 3-row offers an available rear-seat monitoring camera.
The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk also offers Amazon Fire TV, available red seats, a navigation system, active driving assist, safety and security features, and so on.
Interior
The Grand Cherokee offers a premium-level, luxurious interior, including automatic and voice-activated air conditioning, an air filter, adaptive cruise control, leatherette steering wheel material, carpet floor trim, and other luxurious items. There’s comfortable space for four adult passengers and the largest cabin in the second row.
Comfort
The Grand Cherokee offers premium-level comfort with a luxurious interior, including quilted leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, and a high-tech digital display. The front seats are very comfortable, even on long trips. It is equipped with the available four-zone climate control. Four adult passengers can sit comfortably in the two-door model. Also, there is a large cabin, with a reclining second row that accommodates passengers up to about 6 feet tall.
Infotainment
The Grand Cherokee offers a 10.1-inch touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. It also has optional navigation with real-time traffic and weather updates. A 10.3-inch display is available for use by the front-seat passengers, and higher-end models can be had with a digital gauge cluster.
