What’s New for 2025
For 2025, BMW’s M3 receives the upgraded iDrive 8.5 infotainment system, which features an optional head-up display capable of projecting augmented reality navigation onto the windshield. The M3 CS is no longer part of the lineup, but the all-wheel-drive M3 Competition xDrive now boasts an additional 20 horsepower, bringing its total to 523.
Exterior updates include refreshed headlamps, a new wheel design, and available M Shadowline accents. Inside, a redesigned steering wheel and updated dashboard trim enhance the cabin’s modern appeal.
Infotainment
The BMW M3 offers a long, curved touchscreen display that starts behind the steering wheel and extends across most of the dashboard. It also provides multiple phone charging ports, and optional features are available.
The M3 includes a free subscription to Apple CarPlay, while Android Auto is standard. Both come standard, along with a Harman/Kardon sound system and a one-year subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio.

Comfort
The M3 provides a surprisingly comfortable ride. Its seats are made of carbon fiber, which is comfortable. Lightweight front seats are available and provide incredible support without sacrificing much comfort.

The M3’s interior features luxurious touches throughout. Interior space is good for a compact sedan, offering ample legroom. The M3 also has thick windshield pillars.
