The interior and exterior of the Toyota 4Runner have been redesigned for 2025

What’s New in the 4Runner:

Starting with the SR5, the base model features a power-operated rear window, with an optional power liftgate. Toyota’s Safety Sense package, which includes a range of safety aids, comes standard.

The TRD Sport, geared towards off-road driving, features 20-inch wheels, synthetic leather seats, and trim-specific interior accents.

The TRD Sport Premium comes with an eight-inch touchscreen display, with an optional 14-inch multimedia display available.

The TRD Off-Road includes an electronic locking rear differential and a standard hybrid powertrain, along with additional off-road driving settings.

The TRD Off-Road Premium shares many features with the Off-Road trim and offers an optional kinetic dynamic suspension system for improved wheel traction and off-road handling.

The Limited offers luxury features such as leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a premium JBL audio system.

The new addition to the lineup, the Platinum, features black exterior styling elements, extended heated seats in the second row, a standard tow package, a head-up display, and automatic rain-sensing wipers.

The TRD Pro comes equipped with a sunroof, a JBL sound system, navigation, all-terrain tires, custom wheels, a roof rack, and an exhaust system.

The Trailhunter, another new addition, features rock rails, high-strength skid plates, and a lifted suspension for improved ground clearance.

The 4Runner provides standard engine power. The standard engine produces 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid powertrain, available on select trims, generates 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.

Hybrid-related components that require repairs to correct defects in materials or workmanship are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first from the original date of first use when sold as new. The hybrid battery is covered for 10 years/150,000 miles, whichever comes first, and is transferable across ownership.

Toyota has not released any pricing information for the 2025 Toyota 4Runner yet. However, the price is expected to increase slightly from the 2024 model onward. It is anticipated to be limited to between $43,000 and $56,000 for the 2025 model.
